New, Free Nutrition and Diabetes Education Classes Scheduled with Clinical Dietitian Stacey Bailey at Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital
Solvang, Santa Ynez Valley, Calif.—The public is invited to attend free weekly nutrition and new diabetes education classes at Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital, 2050 Viborg Road in Solvang. All classes are held in the hospital’s front conference room (enter thru the Physicians Clinic entrance). Led by Clinical Dietitian Stacey Bailey, MS, RD, CDE, the classes encourage and support healthy eating habits and help manage the diagnosis of diabetes. Bailey stated, “Come discover more healthy tips with these fun, free, information-filled classes. You can bring your own lunch to eat during class while we learn together. There’s no RSVP required and I hope you will attend whenever you can.”

Bailey joined Cottage Health System as clinical dietitian in August 2011. She provides both inpatient and outpatient dietary management and counseling services, as well as assists in formulation of meal and menu planning specifically for Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital.
