Cottage to Host FREE Virtual Meet the Doctor: Advances in Minimally Invasive Aortic Aneurysm Treatment
The Cottage Heart and Vascular Center will present a FREE Virtual Meet the Doctor event with Dr. Kevin M. Casey on Thursday, October 12, from 4 – 5 p.m., on Advances in Minimally Invasive Aortic Aneurysm Treatment.
An aortic aneurysm occurs when the aorta, the largest blood vessel in the body, has a bulge in its wall. The aorta carries oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the rest of the body. Dr. Casey will discuss causes, symptoms and strategies for prevention and treatment. There will be time for questions after the presentation.
Dr. Casey is an active member of the medical community and the greater Santa Barbara community. He received his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, followed by a residency at Ochsner Foundation Clinic in Louisiana and a fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center.
