New Billing and Billing Notification System
Cottage Health has a new patient billing and notification system. The goal is to provide a more convenient, secure and eco-friendly billing experience with real-time balance information available online from anywhere, anytime. The system communicates with patients and guarantors when bills are ready for payment through three different ways:
- Text messages
- Email notifications
- Paper statements
You will receive notification by your preferred communication method when a new statement is ready. The billing statements have an updated look and feel. And you can continue to pay bills securely through your Cottage MyChart account. Paying bills through Cottage MyChart or Guest Pay will also have an updated look and feel. Please note that if you had saved credit card information in our previous billing system, that information will not transfer to the new billing system for your security. Please re-enter and it will be available for future secure payments.
Cottage MyChart
If you don’t have a Cottage MyChart account, sign up online or at cottagehealth.org/mychart or download the Cottage Health MyChart app in the app store to sign up today.
Paperless Billing
As of October 2024, Cottage Health has enrolled all patients into paperless billing as the first method for billing notifications and statements. Paper statements will only be sent when specifically requested by patients and guarantors. However, if you opted out of paperless billing as of October 2024, you will continue to receive paper statements.
Pay By Phone
To pay your bill by phone, please call the Cottage Health Business Office at 805-695-2518 or toll-free at 844-711-9263. Phone service hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or pay by the automated phone system 24/7.
