We will be accepting applications for our March 12, 2018 RN New Grad Program from January 23, 2018 through February 2, 2018 @ 1700. Please submit ONE application ONLY to a specific unit. Positions are titled: Registered Nurse New Graduate – “Unit” (Cardiac Telemetry, Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital, Emergency – SBCH, Emergency – GVCH, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Neurology/Urology, Oncology, Psychiatric Nursing, Pulmonary/Renal/Infectious Disease, Surgical Trauma).
In your cover letter state: Nursing GPA and status of your RN License / ATT / BRN Paperwork with anticipated timeframe(s).

Cottage Health strongly supports nursing education in our community through partnerships with Santa Barbara City College and Cal State Channel Islands (CSUCI) in Camarillo.
Cottage supports the SBCC Associate Degree in Nursing program financially as well as with clinical education opportunities for nurses-in-training.
In 2012, CH teamed up with CSUCI to launch the region's first Bachelor's Degree in Nursing program. Offered through CSUCI Extended University, the program is housed in a facility adjacent to Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital. The suite includes three high-tech classrooms, faculty offices, and state-of-the-art simulation labs.
Students are admitted to the BSN Program at Cottage in a cohort fashion (22 per year). Full capacity is a total of 66 students enrolled in three cohorts. Graduation occurs every spring. Health Care Education Loan Program
Through our Healthcare Education Loan Program you can obtain your next degree at little or no cost to yourself. The Healthcare Education Loan program provides financial support to employees of Cottage Health (internal candidates) in conjunction with earning a:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) or other related field, based on organizational need
- Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
The Healthcare Education Loan program also provides financial support to non-employees (external candidates) attending school on a full time basis, living in the Tri-County area, in conjunction with earning a:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) through Santa Barbara City College
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) through California State University Channel Islands
- Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) through Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital School of Medical Technology or California State University Channel Islands
Based on your education goals, you may qualify for loans up to the following amounts:
- Associate Degree Program(ADN) up to $5,000
- Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) up to $10,000
- Bachelor’s Degree Program(BSN) up to $7,500
- Cal State University Channel Islands at Cottage Health System BSN Program up to $12,000
- Master’s Degree Program(MSN) up to $6,000
100% of this loan plus the interest thereon may be cancelled if, upon graduation, you are employed for service as a full-time or part-time benefited Registered Nurse, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), at any Cottage Health (CH) facility. Loan repayment for service begins following completion of the new certificate/degree. Service requirement for loan repayment is one hour for each dollar borrowed. For example, if $4,000 is borrowed the loan will be fully repaid after 4,000 hours worked as a regular full-time or part time benefits eligible employee.
