Basketball Legend Bounces Back
Coach Bill Bertka has 10 NBA Championship rings with the Los Angeles Lakers. A few months ago, the coach experienced a large gash in his leg. His physician referred him to the Ridley-Tree Center for Wound Management at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Soon, he healed and bounced back to the life he loves. Now 90 years old, he's back doing what he loves.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivers high concentrations of 100 percent oxygen into the bloodstream. This type of therapy assists in the healing process of wounds and is effective in fighting certain types of infections. It also helps to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels, which can improve circulation and wound healing.
