Interests (non-medical/medical): Sports, concerts, reading, hiking, kayaking, running, anything outdoors.
Favorite thing about Santa Barbara: Always something to do. Going to open mic nights, the beach, and finding good food spots.

Daniel Jenkins, R3

Hometown: Amarillo, TX
Education: Texas State University; Texas A&M University - College of Medicine
Interests (non-medical/medical): I enjoy going to the beach, flyfishing, climbing and learning how to surf. Trauma/Critical Care and Vascular.
Favorite thing about Santa Barbara: Mountains and beach are both close by, makes the off days feel like you are on vacation. Santa Barbara also has good food and some great live music.

Interests (non-medical/medical): Hiking, time at the beach. Trauma surgery, public health.
Favorite thing about Santa Barbara: Close-knit community, operative experience, ability to spend time in the mountains/ocean on days off!

Favorite thing about Santa Barbara: having the beach nearby, since it usually means my friends from out of town always find a reason to come visit!
