Community Pediatrics and Advocacy Rotation
Training in leadership, advocacy, and systems of care is critical to the success of pediatricians. During the Community Pediatrics and Advocacy Rotation, residents will engage in a combination of didactic and experiential learning opportunities that foster an understanding of the intersection between patients, physicians, and communities.
CAPE: Training Pediatric Leaders for Change
Pediatric residents become powerful advocates for children, families, and the future of child health.
The Cottage Center for Advocacy in Pediatrics and Education (CAPE) empowers residents to be more than clinicians—preparing them to lead, innovate, and advocate for children and families. Through immersive experiences in health policy, community partnerships, leadership, trauma-informed care, and quality improvement, CAPE graduates leave ready to improve child health at the bedside, in the community, and beyond.
