If I am already a patient of Dr. Haq or Dr. Berger, will I be able to continue my care with them at Cottage Endocrinology Clinic?
We understand that many patients would like to continue their care with Dr. Haq and Dr. Berger, and we will do our best to accommodate this once the clinic opens.

We will be keeping a waitlist and will begin contacting patients closer to the clinic opening date with more information about scheduling.

Are all current patients being added to the waitlist automatically?

What should I do if I need care before the clinic opens?
If you need care before the clinic opens, we recommend staying connected with your current care team. You may contact Sutter Health’s endocrinology department for an appointment or speak with your primary care provider about next steps.
Patients who do not have a primary care provider, or who are unable to get a timely appointment, may also contact Cottage Primary Care – Goleta, where appointments are currently available within approximately two weeks.
Will you accept my insurance?
Cottage Endocrinology Clinic will accept many insurance plans, though CenCal and HMO plans will not be accepted when the clinic opens. We encourage patients to check back for updates.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
A referral may be needed depending on your insurance plan and clinical condition. When scheduling opens, our team will review your information and let you know what is needed to schedule an appointment.
