Arnau Benet, MD, PhD

Dr. Arnau Benet treats the full range of complex brain and spine conditions, with special interest in complex cranial lesions — cerebral aneurysms, vascular malformations, cerebral bypass, brain tumors, and skull base surgery. After directing the Skull Base and Cerebrovascular Laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco for five years, Dr. Benet completed his neurosurgery residency at the Barrow Neurological Institute, followed by advanced international cerebrovascular fellowships in Japan, Germany, and Chile.

Today, Dr. Benett serves as President & CEO of California Neurosurgical Specialists. He has authored more than 250 peer-reviewed publications and 25 book chapters and serves as Adjunct Professor of Neurosurgery at the Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Benet is fluent in English and Spanish.
