Lauren Fink, BSN, RN, CNRN, SCRN

Lauren Fink, BSN, RN, CNRN, SCRN, is the Clinical Manager, Service Line Operations, Neuroscience for Cottage Health. Since 2018, Lauren has played a key role in stroke care, previously serving as the Stroke Coordinator for both Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital.

In her current role, Lauren leads the administrative and strategic operations of the Neuroscience Program, working closely with multi-disciplinary care teams to ensure deliver of high-quality, evidence-based care. She oversees the coordination and implementation of services related to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital’s Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Program and Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital’s Acute Stroke Ready Program. She also partners with local EMS agencies and community organizations across the Santa Barbara region to support neuro-stroke care and education.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with honors from California State University Channel Islands in May 2010. She has worked as a registered nurse in Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital’s Neurology Unit and Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Her research experience includes serving as an investigator in two stroke care research trials. She holds two professional certifications—Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) from the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) from the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
