Wendy Brunet, MSN, NP-C

Wendy Brunet, MSN, NP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner with more than three decades of nursing experience. Brunet earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Kent State University. Brunet has worked in several specialties during her nurse practitioner career including cardiology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery.

At the Cottage Neurosciences Clinic, Brunet works with neurosurgeon Dr. Moayeri, and assists in neurosurgeries and cares for patients in the hospital recovering from their surgeries. She also participates in the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Tumor Board meetings to provide neurosurgical patients with the gold standard for medical management of their diagnosis, and to collaborate with the Cottage Health Medical Staff physicians involved in their care.

Earlier, Brunet served as an active-duty registered nurse at the David Grant U.S. Air Force Medical Center in Travis Air Force Base—the Air Force’s largest medical center in the continental U.S.
