Aphasia Recovery Group

Aphasia is a language disorder that occurs after damage to the brain. Speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension can be affected. This weekly class is led by a licensed speech-language pathologist and is held every Wednesday from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m.

The fee is $15 per class or $80 for 6 classes. For more information call 805-569-8900 ext. 82402.

Project Re-entry

Socialization and recreation program for people who have had strokes or other disabling conditions that limit their community participation. The group meets every Friday, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and is free. For more information call 805-569-8999 x82101.

Project Re-Entry Program Schedule

Additionally, a socialization, recreation and support group for caregivers of people recovering from Stroke of Brain Injury meets once a month. The group meets the third Friday of every month, 10:15am-11:30am, and is free. Please call 805-569-8950 for more information.

Stroke/Brain Injury - Family Caregiver Support Group

Outlook Mixer

Monthly program for adults with neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Program includes information, peer support, relationships, encouragement and more. Families and caregivers invited.

The group meets the second Monday of the month at Pilgrim Terrace Cooperative Homes’ Activity Center and is free. For more information call 805-569-8999 x82101.

Spinal Cord Injury Life Series

Peer support and education group for people with, or affected by, spinal cord injury or similar disability. The group meets the third Thursday of the month in collaboration with the Triumph Foundation and is free. For more information call 805-569-8999 x82102.
